It's day 3 of the Fitness Challenge!! I did my 7 Minute Workout early this morning and I could feel a soreness in my arms and my legs as I did it! This is good though, don't let that stop you.... even if you are feeling soreness, it's still okay to go ahead with the workout, it will actually make you feel better! Being sore is a good thing, it means your body is changing and building muscle, so don't forget to feed it with some protein after your workout! In case you missed it....read my post on what to eat before and after a workout! Since I am still feeling some soreness, I did one set again. As my soreness subsides, I will increase to two sets.
I'm SO proud of you all for joining in this Fitness Challenge! I've heard from some of you, you've sent me pictures of your Post-It motivation walls!! You've asked me for advice on walking shoes!! I actually sent an old friend some of my slightly used workout shoes yesterday that I haven't worn in a year, super nice, they're just taking up space in my closet! She asked for advice on what's inexpensive and comfortable. They are still SO comfortable and she can put them to use better than I can right now!! She was going to go buy some and I said wait!...we wear the same size...you'll love these!! It doesn't get much more inexpensive than free! I washed them and packaged them up with tissue like new...and sent them! She was super excited!
I did my workout early this morning because I had to get to an appointment to get my teeth cleaned. I love my dental hygienist...her name is Suzy and she's super cute. She makes going to the dentist not so bad...she always chats me up....mostly her, because I can't chat that much with tools in my mouth! Today one of the first things she said was "I need to start a workout program..." So I told her, "Well, I've got the perfect workout for you!" She seemed excited to check this out...so hopefully she will be joining us!!!! :-)
